Bangkok suburbs sightseeing

Here are some famous spots on the outskirts of Bangkok that you've probably seen somewhere before.
If you research and join a bus tour, you can cover all the famous spots, so please use this as a reference~
① Damnoen Saduak Floating Market (photos 1-3)
The most famous floating market in Thailand, located an hour and a half by car from Bangkok.
You can join a boat tour and enjoy the market as you go along the canal.
Fruits and drinks are sold on the boat, and many miscellaneous goods that could be used as souvenirs are sold along the side of the canal, so just looking at them is exciting☺️
Also, a little away from the floating market, along the canal, you can see how the local people live.
There were many stilt houses, and it was a mysterious space.
After the water tour, go to the area lined with souvenir shops.
I recommend buying Thai pants and elephant figurines as souvenirs!
② Maeklong Market (photos 4 & 5)
This market is famous for the train that passes right inside the market.
It seems that the train passes through eight times a day.
If you join a bus tour, you can visit here according to the time of the train, so I recommend it.
When the train is about to arrive, the tents on both sides of the tracks are folded up one after another, which is quite an interesting sight.
It's so fast that you wonder how they can switch so quickly😂
And when the train comes, it's really close.
I waved to the people on the train as I passed them.
I was nervous and excited to have an experience that I would never be able to have in Japan lol
There are souvenir shops and food stalls all over the area, so it's a good idea to go shopping for souvenirs while waiting for the train!
③Coconut Shops
When you think of Southeast Asia, you think of coconuts🥥
There are coconut shops everywhere.
The thing I want you to get here is coconut oil!
Buy in bulk and try to negotiate a discount.
Please go and check it out~
