No plans for NYE? Escape to Ocean Flower Island.

Known as the dubai of China, Ocean Flowr island is shaped like a peony flower, with 3 flowers overall. For key activies and attractions, stay within flower island 1. Other 2 flower are for residential.

To reach, tourist must fly into either Haikou or Sanya Airport and then take the high speed train to Baimajin 白马井. From there, a local taxi (recommend Didi) can transport you to the island in approx. 20mins journey.

Did a 2 night stay to avoid the crowds for festive.

Day 1: 30th
Landed into Baimajin in the afternoon
Check in and relax
Grab dinner at the food area within the island

Day 2: 31st
Woke up to spend the day in Ocean Park
Must see (and only 2 shows time a day, remember to head there early to grab the best spot!):
- White whale show
- Dolphin Show
- Sea Lion Show

Due to Festivity, there's added night shows and activities related to chinese culture (7th image: 打铁花）

At night, grab a bite at the food area or head on to the countdown party location (food stalls are set up for some snacking/ street food dinner). There's a concert prior to countdown. And the countdown starts with a blast of 15 mins worth of fireworks 🎆

Weather is cooling during the season and am glad to have a last minute escape to here.
