I returned to Daocheng Yading on October 18th, and I really want to tell the truth.

Everything was worth it the moment I saw Daocheng Yading. Yuzixi, Xinduqiao and the Sky City Litang are all as beautiful as paintings! The beauty cannot be described in words. A few days of escaping from the city made me understand why so many people come to western Sichuan to play...

⚠️Currently, part of the long line is closed due to geological reasons, which means we can only climb the short line and half of the long line (Luolong Niuchang-Gonggacuo).
But it doesn’t matter, for most ordinary tourists the best travel route is: half long line + short line.
Here is my time-saving and labor-saving route:
👉First arrive at the visitor center
👉Take the scenic area bus to Zhaguanbeng
👉Walk 500 meters to the Chonggu Grassland sightseeing bus stop and follow the crowd. You can see many little monkeys on the way.
✅Take the long route from Chonggu Grassland to Luorong Cow Farm, which takes about 15 minutes (need to buy a battery car for 70 yuan/person)
1⃣Take the sightseeing bus to [Holy Water Lake], get off the bus and take pictures, then walk to Luorong Cow Farm, about 3 kilometers, the whole journey is flat and there is no mountain climbing
2⃣【Luorong Cattle Farm】The scenery is super beautiful. You can stay here for a while and take more photos. I also think the fun thing about this place is that you can interact with the horses at close range. They are all very gentle and obedient, super cute!
3⃣Hiking from [Luolong Cow Farm] to Gonggacuo, the distance is only about two kilometers, but it is really tiring! As the altitude increases, you almost breathe oxygen while walking.
4⃣【Gonggacuo】Super beautiful. Because the long line can only go here, many people take pictures and check in here.
⌛️The long-distance round trip takes about four and a half hours
✅The next step is the short-term route
1⃣Walk down from Gonggacuo to Luorong Ranch and take a sightseeing bus back to Chonggu Temple
2⃣【Chonggu Temple】Hike to Xinbao Lake. The slope is not steep and it feels like you are walking through the primeval forest. There are various squirrels and monkeys along the way.
3⃣【Xinbao Lake】Super beautiful, you can take photos for a long time
⌛️Short round trip takes about an hour and a half

Finally, I have to brag a little bit. I am really lucky to have this trip. I hope all the sisters have fun. If you also plan to join a tour group to western Sichuan, you must find a formal, local small tour group that is purely for fun and can sign a formal travel contract to ensure that it is really pure fun without shopping. This way the travel experience will be much better.
