Cagsawa Ruins

#philippinestrip There are only a few people if you come early but get jam-packed around noon. Before you get to the entrance, someone will offer an ATV ride with a 50% off but wait till you cross the bridge since they a better offer around 60% off lol.

Prices vary depends on the route you’ll take—the closer you get to Mt. Mayon the more expensive it is. From what I remember you get a ride for as low as ₱250 (discounted). Also the entrance fee is ₱45 for adults.

Souvenirs are cheap especially refrigerator magnets which you can get 3 pieces for ₱100—regardless of design. Most souvenirs costs less than ₱100.

It gets hot in there so I recommend to bring a cap, shades, a hand-held fan, and of course water. There’s a lot of stores near the entrance so no worries if you don’t have bottled water with you.

Overall, it’s a great to see history with your very eyes. Mt. Mayon is beautiful as always. I 9/10 recommend visiting.

Reminders:
- Bring cash since most stores are cash basis.
- Avoid using umbrellas—don’t be a photobomber.
- Visit as early as possible if you want to take photographs.
- Enjoy the view.
