A must-visit in Datong! The Yungang Grottoes, this thousand-year-old treasure trove of Buddhist art, truly amazed me 🤩. When I visited in 2021, there weren't many people, allowing me to slowly appreciate the exquisite details of each Buddha statue.

1⃣️ A 5A-level scenic area and one of China's Four Great Grottoes
2⃣️ 45 main caves with over 51,000 stone carvings
3⃣️ The earliest caves date back more than 1,600 years
4⃣️ The reliefs of Buddha's life stories in Cave 6 are particularly spectacular
