A Quiet Day Wandering Through Kuwait – Bayside Walks & Tower Views

#cityplaybook

Kuwait might not be the first place that comes to mind for a relaxing city stroll—but that’s exactly why it surprises you. With breezy coastal paths, striking architecture, and pockets of calm everywhere, it’s a city that knows how to take its time.

I started my day at Souk Sharq, where boats bob gently in the marina and locals come to shop, eat, or just enjoy the view. From there, I walked along the bay, passing palm trees, public art, and plenty of spots to sit and just take it all in.

The Kuwait Towers are a must-see, and even more impressive up close than in photos. They rise above the skyline like futuristic sculptures, glinting in the sun.

One of the best parts? The cafés. All around the bay area, you’ll find stylish spots serving good coffee and even better views. I took my time, sipped slowly, and just watched the city move.

Why I recommend Kuwait City:
・It’s a calm, uncrowded city with space to breathe and room to wander
・The waterfront walks and skyline views are both peaceful and striking
