Mysterious and secluded gourmet restaurant

A truly unique dining spot 🍴 Xianyunju - super hidden and not widely known (but I must share this with everyone because the chicken here is absolutely amazing).

The dishes are undeniably delicious (flavors are on the salty side), and the view from the second floor is quite nice.
📍 The scenery from the restaurant is fantastic 👍 (you can see the golf course ⛳️, Westin Resort Taoyuan, and more).

😋 Must-try dishes: White-cut chicken (extremely tender meat), pork knuckle (seems to be roasted and paired with honey mustard - absolutely delightful 👍), grouper fish (tender and sweet meat), three-cup squid (with king oyster mushrooms, 🫚 ginger, and squid - packed with ingredients), preserved radish omelet (also quite tasty), garlic 🧄 chicken soup (personally average - lots of garlic, but the chicken in the soup is very dry and tough). If you're ordering soup, consider other options, but the rest of the dishes are still excellent and delicious 😋.

There are both indoor and outdoor seating options (surrounded by greenery 🍃 and koi fish - very lush and vibrant).

🚾 Indoor restroom has only one stall, while there are two outdoor restrooms (all quite clean).

(Located opposite a military camp; you can enter after exchanging your ID. There's also a back mountain entrance, but it has many winding roads - something to consider as it's quite remote).

💰 Average cost: For about 7 adults + 2 kids, we spent over 4000 TWD.
