Republican Era Ancient Town in Dayi, Chengdu 🇨🇳

This stunning architecture in this ancient town reminds me of me of the republican era of China between 1920-1940 but this place apparently has a long history of 1,300 years. We have noticed a tram track as well but we didn’t see any trams but maybe they were not operational when we were there. Something that you should check so you can try and ride on a vintage tram.
This is a perfect day trip from Chengdu as it is only 1.30 minutes away but of course you can also stay in Dayi for 2 days to explore more of the area.
