Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine

It is one of the most important Shinto shrines in Japan. It is considered one of the landmarks of Fukuoka City. Both tourists and Japanese people visit to pay homage all the time.

How to get there: Take the Nishitetsu train from Tenjin Station to Futsukaichi Station (approximately 25 minutes). Then change trains and continue to Dazaifu Station.

Open daily: 06.30–18.30
