Lake Akan Onsen, located about two hours from Memanbetsu Airport, is a popular hot spring resort for tourists in eastern Hokkaido.
In the green season, you can take a pleasure boat around Lake Akan, and in the winter season, you can enjoy smelt fishing on the lakeside.
There are souvenir shops and restaurants, so it was a wonderful hot spring resort where you could take a leisurely stroll.
