Snow riding on Jiuxian Mountain｜Two days and one night self-driving tour in Dehua, Fujian

The temperature has dropped significantly recently, and snow is very rare in the south, so I decided to go to Jiuxian Mountain to see the snow scene.

Day 1️⃣
Departing in the afternoon, we arrived at Dehua Wanjia Hotel around five o'clock. The hotel is very large and built on a high ground, which is very conspicuous. The environment is good, the room is large, clean and tidy, and the large floor-to-ceiling windows have a great view.

Dinner: [Hunan and Southern Fujian], more than 300 meters away from the hotel, very close to walk there. The restaurant has a good environment, the food tastes good, the price is not expensive, and it is economical and worth trying.

Day 2️⃣
We set off at seven o'clock and drove for an hour to the parking lot at the foot of Jiuxian Mountain (we set off too late, there were many people and cars, and there was a long traffic jam, so it is recommended to leave an hour earlier). After parking the car, it still took about ten minutes to walk to get there. Ticket office at the gate of the scenic spot (Jiuxianshan Hotel is located at this location, we did not book it because it was too expensive)

The entrance fee to the scenic spot is 55, and the scenic bus is 20. Due to the icy roads in the snow, the scenic bus is suspended, and tourists can only walk up the mountain. ⚠️The first half of the road is all about the mountainous road, which is all slowly uphill. It takes three hours to reach the real entrance of the scenic spot while walking and taking pictures! It still takes 1 to 2 hours to go up to the top of the mountain from here, which is very tiring. We walked back here and returned. You need to think carefully about coming to play.

Fortunately, the snow scenery around the mountainous road along the way was very beautiful and white. Unexpectedly, the first time I saw rime was in the south. Everyone was very excited to make snowmen and have snowball fights. But these views were gone by noon.

It was already afternoon after we came down from the mountain. We ate Chishui Vinegar Pork Knuckles at the restaurant we were looking for in town. However, we recommend that if possible, we go back to Dehua County to eat. Don’t eat here. The environment is dirty and messy, there is no service at all, and the guests have to cook by themselves. The supervisor next to him was serving the dishes, and he was extremely speechless. We want to get on the expressway directly from here. We have no choice but to never eat here next time.
