Meili Snow Mountain Circumambulation Fantasy Journey

Meili Snow Mountain is one of the Tibetans' most majestic snow-capped mountains. Legend has it that no one has ever reached the summit. Now, different routes have been developed. This time, I hiked the Divine Waterfall Route and the Ice Lake Route. Over two days, I hiked 30 kilometers at an altitude of over 3,400 meters. The uphill climb was incredibly challenging, requiring a break every two steps. However, the constant rain in Yunnan in July made the roads even more challenging, but it's still worth the trip.

Seeing the sunrise over the Golden Mountain requires luck; I didn't get to see it this time, but the clouds parted and I was able to see the snowy summit. There were also plenty of adorable squirrels along the way.

Transportation Guide: Enter Xidang Village in Shangri-La, then choose to walk or use an off-road vehicle to reach Yubeng Village.
Local Attraction: Meili Snow Mountain (I heard the Cordyceps Route is more beautiful, but also more challenging).
Hotel: Guyu Flower Garden (the hotel in the small village is decent, but the rooms offer direct views of the mountain).
Food and Restaurants: I didn't eat much due to altitude sickness.
