Meili Snow Mountain in October is extremely shy.

Meili Snow Mountain, the sacred mountain of the Tibetan people, is located in Deqin City, Yunnan Province. There are many legends about this sacred mountain, which no climber in the world has ever conquered. Climbers from all over the world have tried to reach its peak, but they have only returned with their physical bodies.
Currently, climbing the peak is prohibited, either due to Tibetan beliefs or for the safety of the climbers.
To admire Meili Snow Mountain, you can visit the Feilai Temple viewpoint. The most beautiful time is in the morning when the sunlight bathes the peak in golden light.
Unfortunately, when we visited, the sky was full of clouds. We can only hope that next time we will get to see it.
