Nature’s Steamy Surprise in Taiwan

I didn’t expect to enjoy Thermal Valley as much as I did, but it was such a unique and calming experience. The moment I saw the steam rising from the greenish-blue water, I knew this place was something special. It felt otherworldly, like a secret garden heated by the earth itself. The warning signs about the high temperature reminded me that it’s beautiful but powerful.

There are plenty of shaded spots to rest and take it all in. I loved how easy it was to just sit quietly, listen to the bubbling spring, and forget about everything else. This spot is definitely worth a visit if you're exploring Beitou or looking for something relaxing and different.
