Travel from Shangrila to Feilai Temple

Review of public transportation from Shangri-La City (香格里拉) to Feilai Temple (飞来寺, 德庆), which is the destination for viewing Meili Snow Mountain, or on to Yubeng Village or Mingyong Glacier
Here are the rough steps

1) Start your journey from Shangri-La Bus Station (香格里拉汽车客运站)

2) Tickets can be purchased at the station or in advance for around 60 CNY (don't forget to check the bus schedule and ticket prices again)
** The destination ticket is Feilai Temple (飞来寺)

3) When the time comes, board the bus by sitting in the seat number specified on the ticket
** It is very important to wear a seat belt at all times while riding the bus

4) The journey takes about 3 hours, with beautiful scenery along the way Don't sleep so much that you miss the beautiful view along the way.

5) When you arrive at the Deqin Bus Station (德钦), the bus will stop to change to a smaller bus to travel to Feilai Temple.

6) The view from Deqin to Feilai Temple is very beautiful, like a high cliff. It doesn't take long to reach the destination. The bus will drop you off right next to the entrance of Feilai Temple.
