Besides hiking, what other hidden activities are there in Yubeng?

🏔 Those who've done their Yubeng homework must already know about the Ice Lake, Sacred Waterfall, Sacred Lake, and Nilong Gorge~

🏔 Although many don't recommend Yubeng during the rainy season...
I still want to say a few words in its defense 😂

🌊 Before setting off, I checked the weather forecast—Shangri-La and Deqin showed rain every day.
But the weather on the plateau is highly unpredictable.
Except for the morning rain at Feilai Temple,
it mostly rained at night in Yubeng,
while the days were sunny and bright…

👭 For those visiting Yubeng during this time,
you can go mushroom foraging! 🍄
Big ones, small ones,
red, green, yellow, and white—
with a little bamboo basket on your back,
picking mushrooms is pure joy.

"🍄 Red umbrella, white stem,
after eating, we lie flat together" 🧶
Heads up!
99% of restaurants in Yubeng
refuse to cook wild mushrooms 😂
The guesthouse I stayed at for five days did cook some for me 🙆‍♀️
but only the safer "egg mushrooms,"
since they didn’t want anyone "lying flat" for real.
So, foraging is fun,
but whether to eat them or not—
think twice, no, think thrice! ✌️

Later, the owner of a guesthouse in Lijiang said I was really bold
to dare eat mushrooms I picked myself 😂
