Vintage vibes at first sight! Stayed at a hidden gem homestay in Moganshan

Just a 1.5-hour drive from Hangzhou lies the off-the-beaten-path summer retreat of Deqing, where I discovered Xipo Yujie Liangshi nestled in Yucun's homestay cluster - an absolute dream haven for artsy souls! White walls with black tiles paired with retro greenery make every corner look straight out of a magazine 🍃

🏠 Homestay Design
This designer homestay transformed from an old cocoon factory retains industrial-style trusses and rammed earth walls, blending mid-century furniture with Moroccan decor. The glass sunroom in common areas is my favorite - watching raindrops slide down the slanted glass roof from beanbag chairs during rainy days creates ultimate cozy vibes.

🛏️ Room Highlights
Our "Liangshi" room features a private courtyard and 55㎡ loft design: sunken bathtub & lounge area downstairs, tatami bed facing skylight upstairs (perfect for stargazing ✨). LE LABO 33 amenities, plush bathrobes and bedding rival five-star hotels. Brass switches and handmade pottery details are aesthetic perfection!

🍽️ Dining Experience
· Breakfast features 9-grid set meal + Deqing's signature dried bamboo shoot noodles, served on local celadon
· Must-try private kitchen dishes (reservation required)! Recommend free-range chicken hotpot with organic veggies from backyard garden
· Afternoon tea highlight: Moganshan black tea with osmanthus rice cakes under century-old ginkgo tree

🎯 Activities
· Try barista classes at the in-house Wild Coffee Lab (using Yunnan anaerobic fermentation beans)
· Common areas include mini-library + vinyl room - found a vintage "In the Mood for Love" soundtrack
· Weekly outdoor movie nights projecting films like "Midnight Paris" on original brick walls

🚶 Nearby Attractions
· 5-min walk to Yucun Cultural Market - Republican-era buildings at Clock Tower Square perfect for vintage photos
· 10-min bike ride to Yiyuan Farm (feed giraffes at sunset!)
· 20-min drive to Discovery Adventures for hot air balloons/jungle ziplines
