Dongzi Garden Scenic Area in Dezhou

There is a park in Dezhou city called Dongzi Garden, which was built to commemorate Dong Zhongshu. Dong Zhongshu is a great Confucian scholar who advocated 'dismiss all other schools and respect Confucianism alone' during the Western Han Dynasty. Next to Dongzi Garden in Dezhou, there is a Dongzi Garden Cultural Park, separated by a river from the park. It was once a popular park, and it is now lively at night with restaurants and bars open.
