InterContinental Dhaka, the best hotel of the whole trip

This hotel was the most fun place in Dhaka. It's like a different world from the outside.

The staff are very friendly and the facilities are complete. The service is great, but the hardware is not perfect. For example, the toilet flush panel fell off when I pressed it, and I had to catch it with both hands before I could pull up my pants. The toiletries are all Byredo.

I think the best thing here is the restaurant. The steak house on the first floor is very delicious. Locals say the cake here is the best in Dhaka. Members get at least 20% off meals.

The hotel is about 40 minutes from the airport in normal traffic. In addition to the InterContinental, Dhaka also has a Crowne Plaza and a Holiday Inn. The Marriott series has a Westin, a Le Meridien, and a Renaissance.
