The Nanshe Ming and Qing ancient village located in Chashan Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China, is a place full of historical and cultural charm that I recently visited. This trip gave me a deeper experience of the architecture and lifestyle during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
When you enter the ancient village, the first thing that catches your eye is the well-preserved ancient buildings. These buildings are mainly made of blue bricks and gray tiles, with carved beams and painted rafters, and are full of an ancient atmosphere. Walking in the winding alleys, I felt as if I had traveled back hundreds of years and felt the strong historical atmosphere.
It is worth mentioning that the ancestral halls and academies in the village demonstrated the importance people attached to cultural education at that time. These buildings are not only artistic treasures, but also important witnesses of cultural heritage. There are also cannons from the Kangxi era‼ ️
In addition, the small bridges, flowing water and towering ancient trees in the village are refreshing and a good place to relax. The hospitality of the local residents allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the local customs and culture.
This trip to the Nanshe ancient village from the Ming and Qing dynasties not only allowed me to appreciate the beauty of the ancient buildings, but also enhanced my respect for traditional Chinese culture. I look forward to having the opportunity to visit this historic land again in the future.
