Dongguan Chashan Nanshe Hanfu Portrait Notes

Wear Hanfu to explore a Ming-Qing ancient village! Nanshe's carved window lattices make the perfect photography studio

📷 Equipment preparation: 70-200mm lens

🏯 Five must-shoot scenes and telephoto lens tips

1️⃣ Ancient alleyways: Utilize the depth of the alleyways, with ancient walls on both sides as foreground. The large aperture of the telephoto lens compresses the hundred-meter alleyway and subject into a framed story
2️⃣ Stone bridge: Use the lake as foreground, position the subject in the center of the bridge, and use 70mm to blend person and scenery
3️⃣ Pond edge: Have the subject gaze into the distance, lean over to look at the water surface, or walk naturally while looking around to create a cinematic atmosphere
4️⃣ In front of ancient buildings: Use 200mm from a distance to compress the foreground, with the subject leaning against stone pillars
5️⃣ Riding in a small boat: Photographer captures shots from a distance
