Thanks to the boss for the treat, I finally got the chance to visit Tianyi Restaurant on the 21st floor of Morpheus Hotel at City of Dreams! Designed by Zaha Hadid, this restaurant boasts stunning high-altitude views and a dining area that feels like an art gallery. The tables are well-spaced, ensuring excellent privacy.
Since we were rushing to catch the 8 PM "The House of Dancing Water" show (entry at 7:45 PM), we arrived at 6:15 PM and opted for the six-course menu (MOP 1,888 per person plus service charge, with a 15% discount for show ticket holders). Initially, we wanted to try the nine-course menu, but time constraints meant saving it for next time!
The fish maw hot and sour soup was tangy and appetizing, while the grouper with rice rolls was tender and bouncy, leaving a lasting impression with every bite! The overall dining experience was top-notch. While the flavors met the high expectations, they certainly lived up to the title of "Cantonese Cuisine Ceiling." If paying out of pocket, one might consider other options at the same price point, but as a complimentary feast, it was absolutely delightful! For foodies in Macau, Tianyi Restaurant is highly recommended!
