Dongshan Railway Station

A huge melon shed. The shape of Dongshan Railway Station is different from other railway stations in Taiwan.

When the new station was first designed, the old name of Dongshan, "Donggua Mountain", was used as an inspiration. In conjunction with the Taiwan Railway Yilan Line elevated project and the development of the Ecological Green Boat, it was designed as Taiwan's first railway station for leisure and tourism purposes.

Below it is the station building, and above it are the train tracks. In addition to being used as a parking lot, the area under the viaduct can also be used as a venue for cultural and creative exhibitions. The small square in front of the station is even more of an art space. The entire train station itself is an absolute work of art.
