Liujiaxia_ A Trip to Gannan

In the 1970s, high school geography taught us about three major hydroelectric hubs on the upper reaches of the Yellow River: Lijiaxia, Liujiaxia, and Qingtongxia, with Liujiaxia being the most important. This time, visiting here indeed proved to be extraordinary. Although the dam is not large, the reservoir area is quite vast, extending over a hundred kilometers. The clear and turbid waters at the confluence of the Tao and Yellow Rivers, and the Danxia landforms at Bingling Temple Grottoes, are truly eye-opening.
