✈️Aegean Airlines Business Lounge at Larnaca International Airport (LCA)

Before my flight to Athens, I visited the recently renovated #aegeanairlines Business Lounge at Larnaca Airport (LCA). Its location is next to Gate 48 (at the end of the main aisle) and it can be used by First or Business class passengers in #staralliance as well as #staralliance gold passengers. The lounge is luxurious with modern internal decoration but its size is relatively small. There are dining tables at the area next to the foods and drinks and also very comfortable arm chairs were you can chill out. There were two different choices for hot food: chicken souvlaki and seftalia (i.e., traditional Cypriot meatball) along with a selection of cold sandwiches, and salads, all influenced by the Greek – Cypriot traditional cuisine. On the top of that, the lounge offers complementary refreshments, an updated self service bar, a few choices of desserts and a self service espresso machine. When I entered the lounge was quiet enough with 2-3 other people, but as the time of my Aegean Airlines flight was approaching, the place became crowded enough.

🗓️ Tip 1: For some reason, Aegean Airlines starts check in, two hours before the flight instead of three or even four hours that other air companies do, and as a result if you have baggage for drop off, the time you can spend in lounge is not too much.

🗓️ Tip 2: Because Aegean Airlines Lounge at Larnaca Airport serves all the Star Alliance passengers who have the right to make use of it, the lounge can be crowded some times during the day (if there are two or more Star Alliance flights closely one to each other), due to its small size.
