I’ve always been fascinated by Atlantis in its original and first location in Nassau, the Bahamas, since I read about it in a novel, Jeffrey Archer’s novel If I Remember Correctly.
For more than two decades, Atlantis has been exuding the culture of the Bahamas, acting as an architectural marvel and guardian of marine life, and its historical pink architecture that defines luxury, hospitality and entertainment in the Caribbean and around the world.
The closest we can get, now, is Atlantis’ second location in luxury Dubai, located in the Palm Edge, which in itself is an icon. No, we weren't staying at Atlantis, but I hope so in the future. We were able to take a small turn from the Dubai city tour to take the picturesque route in the metro line that travels from one end of the Palm to the other where Atlantis is located. The journey through the central front of the Palm, in itself is magical, with about a few stops and a view of the bustling small town with private beaches and distinctive houses. The last stop is where I got a glimpse of the most anticipated view of Atlantis, it was nothing less than magic. I couldn’t stop wondering how beautiful the pink architecture is, at great ease in Dubai’s cultural scene in the middle of the sea.
Now my trip to Dubai has been reaffirmed with such a beautiful space where I would like to stay at least one day [and afford it] and enjoy access to Aquaventure Dubai and the Lost Chambers Aquarium.
