After an extensive renovation, the Yokohama Museum of Art officially reopened its entire facility on February 8, 2025. At the heart of the renewal is the “Grand Gallery”, a vast and light-filled space that now serves as part of the newly expanded “Free Area” (Jiyū Area). This public zone allows visitors to experience the museum’s open and creative spirit without an admission fee.
