Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang

Mogao caves is also known as the Thousand Buddha Grottoes. It is one of topmost tourist spot in Dunhuang, Jiuquan, Gansu province, China.
Getting There - A direct cab from the railway station will cost around 500-700 rmb.
The northern Wei, Western Wei and the Northern Zhou caves, the earliest of the Mogao caves, are known to be distinctly Indian in style and iconography.
