Today we intentionally drove to the Shrine of the Goddess of the Sea at Sang Hi Bridge because we heard that there is a Hainanese rice noodle shop here with an old and original recipe called “Jae Nit Hainanese Rice Noodles”. The shop is located in the parking lot of the shrine. If you drive here, you can park inside the Shrine of the Goddess of the Sea.
Jae Nit Hainanese Rice Noodles has been open for over 50 years. It is an old and original recipe. I must say that it is very difficult to find Hainanese rice noodles these days because not many people sell them anymore. I am very glad to have found this shop. Their food is really delicious. You will not be disappointed after eating it.
The Hainanese rice noodles here come in both pork and beef, dry and clear soup, as well as a noodle soup. What we ordered today were 2 bowls of dry Hainanese rice noodles with pork and 1 plate of pork salad. The dry Hainanese rice noodles here come with a thick sauce. The taste is rich and does not need to be seasoned with any additional seasoning. The pork in the Hainanese rice noodles is stewed pork that is soft and fragrant. It is very delicious. As for the pork salad, it is very delicious and not inferior to the Hainanese rice noodles at all. The salad also has peanuts and corn. The dressing is perfectly balanced. The pork and liver in the salad are soft and delicious. They are cooked to the perfect doneness.
For those who have never eaten Hainanese rice noodles here, I highly recommend it. It is really delicious.
