My Son felt like a spiritual journey through time. I visited in the early summer morning to beat the heat, and the mist still clung to the jungle around the ancient Hindu temples. These red brick towers are partially ruined, but their worn carvings speak volumes. The site has a mystical energy, and hearing the history of the Cham civilization while surrounded by forest was surreal. It's peaceful, historic, and worth the trip from Hoi An.
