Avebury henge and stone circle

Avebury henge and stone circles are one of the greatest marvels of prehistoric Britain. Built between 2850 BC and 2200 BC, open all time during daylight hours admission is free. Bus 49 from Swindon will reach here within 33 minutes ride. At Avebury you are free to wander among the stones and bear witness to the enormous task of buildings.
