While traveling in Mongolia, I visited Terelj National Park. One of the most memorable places there was 'Turtle Rock'. As the name suggests, Turtle Rock is a huge rock that looks like a turtle crouching down, and I was amazed the moment I saw it. It was truly amazing that nature had created such a unique shape over a long period of time under the influence of wind, rain, and climate.

When I arrived at Turtle Rock, I was overwhelmed by the size of the rock. It looked cute and strange from afar, but when I got closer, I could feel its huge scale and grandeur. The area around the rock was surrounded by peaceful grasslands and forests, and the clear sky and fresh air combined to create a truly healing experience in nature~👏

The weather was also very nice that day, so I took a lot of pictures under the blue sky, and I also heard about Mongolian traditional culture and legends related to this area from the guide. Turtle Rock is not just a tourist attraction, but a sacred place with symbolic meaning to the Mongolian people. Listening to that story, I felt that this place was not just a product of nature, and I became more interested in the country of Mongolia!!

While walking near Turtle Rock, I saw a ‘falcon’. The sight of it leisurely flying in the wide blue sky was very impressive, and it was moving to see the natural ecosystem right before my eyes. According to the guide, falcons are birds of prey that can be often seen in the Mongolian grasslands, and they have had a deep connection with the Mongolian people since ancient times. I looked up at the sky for a long time, following the fluttering wings of the eagle, and felt the beauty of free and powerful life with my whole body~🦅

Although it was a short time, my day in Terelj remains a very special memory for me. In particular, the peace and wonder I felt while looking at the Turtle Rock are still vivid in my mind. If I have the chance, I would like to visit Mongolia again and experience more natural scenery and culture~🫠
