Mongolia Travel Diary: A Perfect 3-Night, 4-Day Itinerary Covering Grasslands, Desert, and Hot Springs!

Hello✨ This time, I went on a trip to Mongolia🇲🇳!
Expansive grasslands, a night sky filled with the Milky Way, and warm hot springs... It truly felt like a scene from a movie during these 3 nights and 4 days😍.

📍DAY 1 – Terelj National Park 🏞️
As soon as we arrived in Mongolia, we met our driver and guide and headed to Terelj National Park.
The endless grassland scenery along the way had us constantly saying, "Wow... Amazing," even from inside the car🙈💚.

At Terelj, we visited the Chinggis Khan Statue, Turtle Rock, and the Equestrian Statue, and even got to experience horseback riding🐴!
We ended the day at the camp, gazing at a sky full of stars. The beauty was so overwhelming that no photo could truly capture the moment🌌.

📍DAY 2 – Mini Desert 🏜️
On the second day, we set off for the desert! 🚐 Although the journey took about 5–6 hours, the ever-changing scenery outside the window kept us entertained.

When we arrived at the mini desert, it was like stepping into another world✨. We climbed and slid down the sand dunes, tried sand sledding, and enjoyed stargazing under the night sky🌠. That night, the Milky Way was the most stunning I’ve ever seen…!

📍DAY 3 – Tsenkher Hot Springs♨️
On the third day, we drove across the grasslands to reach Tsenkher Hot Springs✨. The journey was far from boring, thanks to the endless grasslands and picturesque flocks of sheep🐑💨.

At the hot springs, soaking in warm water while admiring the open grassland scenery was the perfect way to relieve all the fatigue from the trip🛁. We wrapped up the day by enjoying the traditional Mongolian camp atmosphere💖.

📍DAY 4 – Return✈️
With a heavy heart, we returned to Ulaanbaatar and headed back home. Despite the short duration, the itinerary was packed, allowing us to fully experience the charm of Mongolia🌍.

Mongolia is truly a country that looks 100 times better in person than in photos🥹💙. This 3-night, 4-day itinerary covering grasslands, desert, and hot springs is highly recommended for first-time travelers🙌.
