Only a couple hours from Ulaanbaatar, Terelj National Park feels like you’ve stepped into a postcard. Wide grasslands, rocky cliffs, and traditional ger camps dot the landscape. I went horseback riding, hiked to Turtle Rock, and stayed in a family-run yurt under the stars. Evenings were cold but cozy with yak stew and tea by the fire. If you love peaceful nature and slow travel, this is your place.
