Jiuxian Lake Scenic Area is located at the foot of Jiuxian Mountain, one of the highlights of the Tongbian Mountain Scenic Area in northeastern Guangfeng County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. Known as "Jiangnan's No. 1 Oxygen Bar," Jiuxian Lake boasts vast expanses of emerald waters and enchanting scenery, resembling a natural landscape painting. The scenic area is dotted with islands, scattered in a well-organized pattern, resembling pearls falling on a jade plate. The expansive lake surface is misty and vast, like a green sand sheet spread across its surface. The deep bays, like a maze of twists and turns, offer an unpredictable and vibrant landscape.
Shangrao City has a warm and humid climate, belonging to the subtropical humid climate. This warm climate, abundant sunshine, plentiful rainfall, and a long frost-free period allow for lush crop growth. Major weather hazards include winter snow, drought, lightning, and heavy rain.
In order to enrich the entertainment projects in the scenic area, Jiuxian Lake has successively added rare wild giant salamander viewing spots and zipline sightseeing.
The 660-meter-long zipline spanning Jiuxian Lake, with a drop of over 50 meters between its starting and ending points, has been installed and is undergoing commissioning. Supporting facilities are also being completed and are now fully open to visitors. According to data from the Special Equipment Testing Center of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the Jiuxian Lake zipline boasts the longest span in China.
Ziplining is a new and exciting recreational activity. Passengers, wearing flexible harnesses, are suspended from a sliding trolley and, using gravity, slide down from a high altitude using two inclined steel ropes as a track. Ziplining offers a sense of speed and excitement, allowing passengers to easily cross valleys, rivers, and lakes, giving them the thrill of soaring through the air.
