Erlian Dinosaur Museum

Erlian is a border town in China, adjacent to Mongolia, and a stop on the Trans-Siberian Railway from Beijing to Moscow. We visited this town not by taking the long train route, but by coming to the Chinese border to cross into Mongolia and then taking a train from the border to Ulaanbaatar. There aren't many tourist attractions in this town, but a quick Google search led us to the Dinosaur Museum, where we decided to visit. The museum exhibits fossils discovered in the area.
Getting there: It's about 3-4 km from the city center, and you can take a taxi for 50 baht.
