Among all the border towns I've explored this year, Fangchenggang undoubtedly holds a special place in my heart. Located at the westernmost tip of China, this coastal city sits just a stone's throw away from Vietnam, making it feel like stepping into another world. As you wander through its streets, the rich Southeast Asian ambiance envelops you, creating a truly immersive experience🌴.
Here, you'll find soft, sandy beaches dotted with romantic lighthouses, ancient churches standing proudly alongside charming fishing villages, all coming together to form a picturesque scene. And for the foodies, the diverse array of Vietnamese cuisine is an absolute delight. I'm already planning my return trip, and the following guide is definitely worth savoring and saving❗️

🚉【Getting There】
🔸Take a high-speed train directly to Fangchenggang, enjoying the scenic journey along the way.
🔸Alternatively, fly to Nanning or Beihai and then take a high-speed train to Fangchenggang for a convenient and comfortable trip.
🏝【Exploring Fangchenggang's Attractions】
1⃣ Bailang Beach: A vast expanse of beach with well-developed facilities, perfect for swimming and sunbathing, though the sand isn't as fine as that of Silver Beach.
2⃣ Baishawan Beach: With its soft, powdery sand, this is the ideal spot for watching sunsets and enjoying moments of tranquility🌅.
3⃣ Guaishi Beach (Strange Stone Beach): Featuring unique boardwalks and rocky shores extending into the sea, this beach offers stunning photo opportunities.
4⃣ Xiwan: The most worthwhile coastal area within the city, boasting spacious lawns and a vibrant night market perfect for evening strolls.
