Fairyland~ North Wudang Mountain

North Wudang Mountain, also known as Zhenwu Mountain, was anciently called Dragon King Mountain. It is known as the 'First Famous Mountain of Sanjin' and is one of the Taoist holy sites in northern China. Located within the borders of Fangshan County, in the middle section of the Lüliang Mountains, it is 32 kilometers south of Shishi and 216 kilometers northeast of Taiyuan. With an altitude of 2254 meters and a total area of about 80 square kilometers, the main buildings of North Wudang Mountain include Linggong Temple, Mountain God and Earth God Temple, Xuantian Hall, and Taihe Palace. North Wudang Mountain is composed of 72 peaks, 36 cliffs, and 24 streams, with the main peak being Xianglu Peak. According to the existing 'Yongning County Annals,' North Wudang Mountain had already become a Taoist pilgrimage site before the Tang Dynasty, with Xuantian Hall built on the mountain top.
