A hot spring resort hotel perfect for family👶🏻 trips with parents and kids, and one you'll want to visit again!
The environment, service, and facilities at Qingyuan Hot Spring Resort Hotel are fantastic! With a wide variety of hot springs and lush greenery🍀, it's absolutely delightful—I loved it so much that I want to bring my parents next time!🌻🌻🌻
We drove from Shenzhen for 2 hours and 30 minutes to Xilegu Hot Spring Resort Hotel in Qingyuan. Our booked room included a private hot spring and unlimited access to the public Phoenix Hot Spring, which has over 60 pools. We went on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning🍄🍄 but still didn't get to try all of them. There are many themed hot springs, herbal baths🍄, and even one with a small waterfall—so beautiful!
The best time to soak is early in the morning🌻—the scenery is stunning, and there are fewer people. It's incredibly relaxing.
Our room had a private hot spring. On Saturday night, we prepared some snacks🍟🍱🍦🍧🥤 and drinks, then enjoyed a soothing soak in our private tub before bed—it was heavenly and helped us sleep soundly.🍀🍀🍀
Normally, check-out is before 1 PM, after which you can't use the public hot springs.🌷 But if you check out before 11:30 AM, you can still enjoy unlimited access on the same day!🤔 (Please confirm with the hotel's room information leaflet.) Don’t miss the hotel’s back garden!😎
The flowers were in full bloom—absolutely breathtaking! It felt like stumbling upon a small park, and I ended up taking so many beautiful photos. There’s also a huge playground☘️, perfect for family trips, with so many facilities that you can’t possibly try them all. I had a blast, though!🍁🍁
The dining🍧 experience was great too.
When booking your room, note there are two dinner options: ① Temple Fair Buffet Dinner or ② Regular Buffet Dinner. The former is at the "Buxiangu Valley Temple Fair" snack street🍖🍗🍡 next to the hotel (a regular snack street with temple fair performances and souvenir shops).
The latter is the hotel’s restaurant buffet🌮🌭🍠—make sure you don’t mix them up when booking! Also, weekend visitors should check if this service is available on Saturdays.
We skipped both and had dinner at Zhuxiongtai in Buxiangu Valley—delicious and affordable. The pork chop🥩 was amazing, huge and so flavorful that we were stuffed! After eating, we caught a performance downstairs, and it was surprisingly entertaining with all sorts of tricks!😻😻
There was face-changing, fire-breathing🔥, and even a "Monkey King" flying through the air—no ticket needed, but the show was so good I almost felt guilty watching for free.😚
Soaking in hot springs during Guangdong’s coldest season made for the perfect winter experience—pure bliss!🈵 I’ve heard hot springs in the north offer a whole different kind of thrill.😂😂😂
