Hi everyone! I'm Tangtang🙋♀️, I'm here to update again~
-
Mingshi Garden is located in Shunde District, Foshan
It was built during the Qing Dynasty in the reign of Emperor Guangxu, and has a history of over 130 years
Named after its owner, Mr. He Mingshi
It is a complex that blends Lingnan gardens with Western-style buildings
Consisting of a protective building, a small Western-style building,
4 residential quarters and a garden
Chinese architecture features wok-ear houses, wooden doors, sliding bars, screen doors...
These all reflect the unique style of Lingnan architecture
Baroque European arches,
The small Western-style building reflects the characteristics of Western architectural art.
-
Although it is not large in scale, it is niche and has very few tourists
It is very worthwhile to slowly appreciate the ancient buildings and take photos
-
Tips for visiting and taking photos:
✅For photos, you can wear cheongsam, Chinese clothing, etc., and shooting from the second floor overlooking the arch is very photogenic (cover photo)
✅Also check in at the Turtle Jelly Museum across the river,
Free exhibition viewing + tasting
✅Nearby dining is also convenient, recommended Yang'e roast goose, Pinxiang spare ribs rice
✅Be aware of mosquitoes
✅A day trip can also check in Lunjiao 678 Cultural and Creative Park (10km away), where you can taste the famous snack Sister Huan's Lunjiao cake
