The Forgotten Ancient Village of Changqi

As the CCTV program was filmed, the ancient village of Changqi, located in Lubao Town, Sanshui District, Foshan City, appeared before people's eyes.
So I followed the "Shenzhen Outdoor Tour" group and walked into this ancient village.
There are two large ponds in front of the ancient village and it is backed by Wenbi Mountain, with excellent feng shui.
The village was first built in the Ming Dynasty, and the oldest existing building was built in the early Qing Dynasty. The villagers moved out to live in a new village outside the village in the 1980s. Now the ancient village is basically uninhabited, so the style of the ancient village has been well preserved.
Each house has a courtyard layout, with stone carvings, gray carvings and murals. The village is not big, but the blue bricks and red tiles, and the leisurely ancient alleys show the accumulation of history.
You can reach the viewing platform of Wenbi Mountain from any alley. From here you can get a bird's eye view of the entire ancient village, with its flying eaves and painted buildings and towering wok-ear houses. You can appreciate the charm of the Lingnan-style "wok-ear houses" up close.
