The most underrated fishing village in Fujian | Taishan Island

| Taishan Island. As an underrated island in Fujian, very few people know about it. Additionally, there is only one boat trip to this small fishing village every day, which greatly limits its visitor flow due to the inconvenience. Unlike other islands in Fujian, it is niche and pristine. The houses here are built layer upon layer on the cliffs, and some of them are colorful. In the recessed parts of the cliffs, various sizes of fishing boats are docked, which are one of the tools the indigenous people rely on for survival. They work at sunrise and rest at sunset, living a slow-paced life away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Coming here, you will truly be amazed by its beauty!

Photo Spots:
1⃣️In front of Haijiao No.1, take photos of the houses opposite
(Not all houses are colorful, only some are. Most are gray stone houses, so you need to find the right angle. Some angles resemble the Cinque Terre in Italy)
2⃣️Haijiao No.1 offers a view of the sunrise around 5:20 AM. On a good weather day, you will see a vast expanse of red dawn and silhouetted ships, unbelievably beautiful!
3⃣️Walk 200 meters along the houses on the opposite side, and you will find a high slope where you can capture the entire fishing village and the wildflowers all over the hills!
4⃣️Umbrella Reef
It is a landmark on the island. During low tide, you can walk into the stone cave to take photos📷, which feels very international! In summer, you can also see blue tears! But be careful!
5⃣️One Line Sky
Next to Umbrella Reef's stone bridge, you can watch the sunset and see flocks of seagulls flying by
6⃣️Cabin
The cabin is right next to Umbrella Reef. It is not recommended to stay there, but it is great for photos. During sunrise, the entire cabin will be bathed in sunlight!
