Saiko Lake

It is not as large, and I read that mainly because there is only one vantage point for Mount Fuji on the northwestern tip of Lake Saiko, it is much less touristy than Lake Kawaguchiko. Beautiful views abound from around the Lake. I feel that the mountains around the lake are no less beautiful in their verdant green, as opposed to the elusive Mount Fuji. Indeed an awesome part of the Japanese alps. It is soothing to view the lake as the scenery changes as the bus winds along its perimeter.

In 2024, I want to be back here.
