#Sunset #100 Ways to Travel
Kyushu Free Travel came to #Senomoto Plateau not far from Kurokawa Onsen. This is the plateau area of the Aso Outer Ring Mountain, 1,000 meters above sea level. Looking around, you can see endless mountains and grasslands, a desolate and bleak scene, with a very desolate and desert feeling. The hotel we stayed at was the #SenomotoKogenHotel, located on the plateau.
It happened to be dusk, and I was lucky enough to see the golden sunset and the spectacle of the mountain on fire. The sunset on the prairie is particularly beautiful. There is no trace of artificial buildings at all. The gradual sunset glow dyes the skyline red, which is breathtakingly beautiful!
Another amazing sight of the burning mountain is even more eye-opening! The staff first set up a fire line and set fire from both ends of the hill. The sparks quickly turned into a raging fire, devouring the weeds on the hill. The raging flames were so dreamy and incredible! It is said that the mountain was burned to maintain the original plateau landform and prevent overgrowth of trees.
There is also a beautiful swing on the Senomoto Plateau. Swinging on the swing and watching the sunset slowly set is really healing!
