The Fujisan World Heritage Center, located in Fujikawaguchiko-machi, Yamanashi Prefecture, is a museum dedicated to showcasing the cultural and natural beauty of Mount Fuji. Its exterior, inspired by an "inverted Mount Fuji," stands out against the surrounding scenery. The center is divided into the South and North Buildings. The South Building showcases Mount Fuji's natural ecology and seasonal beauty through cutting-edge video and interactive exhibits, while the North Building focuses on faith and culture, explaining Mount Fuji's historical spiritual symbolism. Visitors can experience a simulated summit climb on a large screen and admire traditional art and related artifacts. An observation deck offers panoramic views of the mountain on clear days. It's not only a great starting point for climbing Mount Fuji, but also a perfect place to experience its full glory.
