Visiting Japanese waterfalls | Shiraito Falls

Japan boasts many beautiful waterfalls, but today I'd like to recommend Shiraito Falls in Shizuoka. This waterfall is amidst beautiful, charming nature, with a large curtain of water.

From the road at the parking lot, you'll need to pay an entrance fee of 500 yen, then simply follow the path.

Before you reach the falls, there are shops selling food, local fruits, and souvenirs. The entrance to the falls is on the right. You'll need to walk down some stairs.

The stairs are quite steep.

We'll arrive at Shiraito Falls, cascading down with white mist, and you might even get wet. You can cross the bridge for a closer look, but some areas are off-limits.

Shiraito Falls is a popular destination in all seasons, but the most popular season is autumn, when the leaves change color. On clear days, you can even see Mount Fuji.
