Cafe Shizen in Asagiri Kogen offers an unforgettable dining experience surrounded by untouched nature—and on clear days, a direct view of Mt. Fuji from the windows. We visited just after the season’s first snowfall, and the scenery looked like a painting.

The silver, futuristic building contrasts beautifully with the warm, wooden interior filled with flowing curves—pure design joy. We ordered the red wine chicken stew set (with soup, salad, and bread) and a fluffy egg sandwich. Both dishes were hearty and delicious.

The food, setting, and panoramic views created a perfect lunch outing in the mountains.
