Fukuoka City holds a grand Christmas 🎄 event every winter, called ☃️"Christmas Advent" ☃️. This event starts on November 6, 2023 and lasts until January 8, 2024. There are 6 venues, showing various beautiful lights and Christmas 🎅 markets.

Among them, one of the most popular venues is the square in front of JR Hakata Station, also known as "Light Street・Hakata". Here, you can enjoy the 14.9-meter-high Christmas tree 🎄, as well as the light gate, light forest, light curtain and other lighting installations composed of 620,000 LED lights. These lights are all based on the theme of dreams and hope, bringing warmth and brilliance to Hakata in winter. You can also taste a variety of food and drinks at the Christmas market, such as mulled wine, hot dogs, panini, etc., and buy some European-style Christmas groceries and decorations. In addition, there are live music performances every night, allowing you to feel the strong Christmas atmosphere.
