Fukuoka! The Ritz-Carlton's new luxury landmark.

The Ritz in Fukuoka follows a Zen-inspired, grand design. Located on the 19th to 25th floors of the tallest mixed-use building in the city's central business district, the hotel lobby reminds me of the elegant, stylish, and serene atmosphere of Aman Tokyo.

One of the hotel's biggest selling points is its location in the bustling Tenjin area, a favorite hangout for local young people, with plenty of great dining and drinking options nearby.

The hotel takes a boutique approach, with a total of 167 rooms, including 20 suites. I stayed in a Bay View Room overlooking Hakata Bay. The space was very spacious, and the decor resembled a modern home. Every piece of furniture and equipment met the standards of stylish luxury, and they used diptyque peach bath products. 😍

The hotel's pool is also a highlight, with a beautiful wood design, as well as a spa pool, sauna, and steam room. 🥰

Breakfast was unexpectedly excellent, served as a buffet plus a main course. The wide variety of food was dazzling, and the quality was outstanding. For example, the bread was small and exquisite, comparable to popular local bakeries. There were also many dairy products, cheeses, fruits, and healthy grains to choose from. 😋

On the other side of the buffet table, there were hams, cheeses, and other side dishes selected by the restaurant. It's worth mentioning that all the ingredients were locally sourced from Kyushu. The hams and cheeses came from local farms and were exceptionally flavorful. Even the simple steamed vegetables were delicious, highlighting the freshness of the ingredients. Of course, there were also many Japanese appetizers and dishes! Finally, I must mention the main egg dish—an omelet with mentaiko (pollock roe). It was incredibly delicious, with the half-cooked eggs and mentaiko being the perfect combination! 😝😝
