Former Fukuoka Prefectural Public Hall, Guest House, a National Important Cultural Property

#DomesticTravelRecord
During my trip to Fukuoka, I visited the tourist spot "Kyufukuoka Prefectural Public Hall Kihinkan."
The "Kyufukuoka Prefectural Public Hall Kihinkan" is located in Nakasu Tenjin Central Park. It is a Western-style building built in the Meiji era and is a national important cultural property. It is a retro building remaining in Nishi-Nakasu.
Construction began in 1909 and it was used as a guest reception hall.
After that, it became a lodging facility for the imperial family, and was also used as a military headquarters during the war.
It is a two-story wooden retro building in the French Renaissance style.
Adult admission: 200 yen, and it is open to the public, but there are also days when it is free, such as during Dontaku festival.
It is one of the few Western-style buildings in Fukuoka.
It is worth a visit when you are traveling to Fukuoka!
